What We Have To Be Thankful For This Christmas

Christmas morning with family. There are few other times during the year as special today. Its a time filled with smiles, tradition, laughter, and gratitude. Gratitude. While we should always be grateful, days like today make us keenly aware of just how blessed we are. These are some of the things that I believe we have to be thankful for this Christmas.

Family

No matter how large or small we should be grateful for family. We should be grateful for the time that we are able to spend with those who are near and those who are some distance away. We should be grateful for the memories we have of those who have gone before us to be with the Lord. Today is a day to be grateful for and celebrate with family. I don’t believe that I am different from any other person. We all desire to move forward. Personally and professionally we want to see positive progress being made in our lives. I can admit that I can spend a good bit of time contemplating whether or not I am progressing at the pace and in the direction that I desire. As I have opportunity to talk with other pastors, ministry leaders, and just people in general I find that I am not alone.
